If you have a branch or a pull request / merge request with several commits but you intent on picking specific commits only to your target branch then you can use <code class="__se__t-code">git cherry-pick</code>&nbsp;command.First, pull all your current changes from remote:<pre>git fetch origin git pull &lt;branch_with_all_changes&gt;</pre>Second, checkout the target branch to which you want to merge the changes:<pre>git checkout &lt;target_branch&gt; git pull &lt;target_branch&gt;</pre>Common to most scenarios, if the target branch is a protected branch, after pulling your changes above, create a sub-branch from it:<pre>git checkout -b cherry-picked-branch-name </pre>This process will allow you to review the changes before they go to the target branch.Then go to the repository UI and copy the commit hash of the specific commit you want to merge for instance:<div class="se-component se-image-container __se__float-none" contenteditable="false" style="width: 100%;"><figure style="width: 100%; margin: 0px;"><img src="https://bloom-bucket.s3.fr-par.scw.cloud/1686045088118" alt="Example of git commits from UI" data-rotate="0" data-proportion="true" data-percentage="100%,auto" data-size="100%,auto" data-align="none" data-file-name="1686043887934" data-file-size="0" origin-size="2458,738" data-origin="100%,auto" name="1686043887934" style="width: 100%; height: auto;" data-index="0"></figure></div>You may copy the commit hash by checking out the <code class="__se__t-code">branch_with_all_the_changes</code>&nbsp;and then running <code class="__se__t-code">git log</code>. This will display the git commits with their hashes.Then to pick the specific commit, while checked out in the&nbsp;<code class="__se__t-code">cherry_picked_branch_name</code>&nbsp;branch, run:<pre>git cherry-pick eb95543morehashcharactersxxxxx </pre>Repeat the above command for all the specific commits from the <code class="__se__t-code">branch_with_all_the_changes</code>.Once done you can then merge the&nbsp;<code class="__se__t-code">cherry_picked_branch_name</code>&nbsp;to the target branch using a pull request.That's it.
